How to connect to a Wi-Fi network Windows

Connecting to a Wi-Fi network on Windows is a simple process. Here are the general steps to follow:

  1. Click on the Wi-Fi icon in the lower right corner of the taskbar. This will bring up a list of available Wi-Fi networks.
  2. Click on the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to. If the network is secured, you may be prompted to enter a password or security key.
  3. If you are connecting to a network for the first time, you may be prompted to choose whether you want to make your PC discoverable on the network. This is important if you want to share files or printers with other devices on the network.
  4. Once you have entered the password or security key, click Connect. Windows will attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
  5. If the connection is successful, you will see a message indicating that you are connected to the network.
  6. If the connection is not successful, you may need to troubleshoot the issue by checking your network settings or contacting your network administrator for assistance.

That's it! Once you are connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can start using the internet and accessing other devices on the network.
