Booting Windows 10 in Safe Mode

Troubleshooting your own computer you can attempt to use windows inbuilt troubleshooting feature which disables unnecessary startup processes, drivers and programs.

System Configuration (msconfig)

Type "msconfig" or "system configuration" in windows 10 desktop search box then click on System Configuration shortcut.
Click on the Boot Tab and remember the Boot Options, select the Safe boot checkbox and click Apply.
Click OK you will be asked if you want to restart.

Advance Startup

Type "advanced startup" or "recovery options" in windows 10 desktop search box then click on shortcut.

Or

Windows start menu > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery

Or

Windows Key + I > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery

Click on Restart Now to restart your system in recovery mode
Click on Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Start-up Settings > Restart
Computer will restart and the Startup Settings screen will load, you can choose the Safe Mode option.

Advanced Startup Shortcut Key

Click on windows logo (bottom left corner of the screen) then click on the Power Icon then hold down shift and click on Restart.
Computer will restart in recovery mode
Click on Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Start-up Settings > Restart
Computer will restart and the Startup Settings screen will load, you can choose the Safe Mode option.

Tapping F8

Unit Windows 8 the easiest method to enter Safe Mode was Tapping F8 on your keyboard during system startup.
By Default F8 Safe Mode is disabled in Windows 10, which can be enabled using a command
Type "cmd" in windows 10 desktop search box then right click on Command Prompt shortcut and click on run as administrator
Copy and paste the following command into command prompt and press Enter


If you wish to disable the F8 Safe Mode option you can copy and paste the following command into command prompt and press Enter

Windows Bootable USB

You can use the windows 10 bootable USB drive to boot up to recovery mode.
Insert the Windows 10 Bootable USB flash drive into USB and boot from it.
Select the keyboard layout and then click on Repair your Computer (Bottom Left of the screen) or Press ALT + R to enter Troubleshoot  > Advanced Options > Start-up Settings > Restart
Computer will restart and the Startup Settings screen will load, you can choose the Safe Mode option.
